The Coral Resorts Unethical Sales Practices Hilton Head South Carolina

My wife and I were sold a bill of goods by this corrupt timeshare sales outfit. My particular issues are...

1. Was told that they would accept an existing timeshare week towards payment on the week they were selling me. I told them that this was a precondition for my purchase. Turns out that all they did was list it with a resale outfit... something that I already had done!!! They told me that the sale of my existing property would close within 2 months. What a sucka I be.

2. Never told me that I was buying only a week every 3 years! All we were told is that they had a program allowing for payment of maintenance fees every three years. If I paid $11,000 for a 1/153 share, what the heck are they charging folks that have a week annually!!

3. Was told that, if desired, my annual week would be put into a rental market for golfers and that my share would be $1000 and that this would cover my maintenance fee. I never was giving any notification of what the going fee is but was led to believe that it was in the $350 range. Now is see that some are being charged up to $2500! This is an outrage. That's alot of deep cleaning for $2500 times 52 for any given room.

This firm needs a class action suit levied and I hope that this site attracts enough other ripoffees that we can find a counsel willing to represent us. They are predators of the worst variety and are hoping to drive buyers into default so they can re-sell the property. I wanted to pass ownership on to one of my children since my wife is handicapped and we won't have much of an opportunity to use it but I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy.
