On September 1, 2009 we contacted this company regarding their stop foreclosure services. We spoke with Ian Rich explained our situation telling him we had received an eviction notice letter and inquired if there was still something that could be done to save our home. He explained to us how his company uses lawsuits to go after the mortgage company. He explained how for the past 10 years the mortgage industry had been doing illegal practices (such as not filing the proper paperwork) to get the mortgage company to modify a loan.

We explained to him from the beginning that the loan was taken over by fannie mae, but Ian insisted his company could still help us....all we had to do was esign the documents he would email us and make a payment of $1400. We then explained we did not have that money and he said just to show they were willing to work with us he could take the payment as installments and on a date we specified. He then said he would get us in contact with a negotiator.

Later I spoke with Bryan O'Connor and again explained our situation. He seemed concerned over the letter we received stating our loan was now with fannie mae, which we already explained to Ian Rich, but asked me to fax the letter the next day so he could see it and review it. I faxed the document the next day and that was when we were informed they could do nothing for us. We were upfront with Ian from the beginning yet were still charged the $700 and risk being charged another $700 at a later date.

I have contacted the company several times and have not received a return phone call. I have disputed this charge with my bank whom they spoke to and DAC is claiming Fraud on our part. We explained our situation fully to Ian. He should not have told us they could do something if he really didn't know and then not do anything, and then take our money. The Fraud is on their part as they have not kept their promise for a full refund of money. They didn't even work on anything. They just made a bad situation worse.
