After ordering a Sony digital camera, I received an e-mail stating that I needed to call them to confirm the order. Having extensively used the internet for purchases, this seemed a little odd. I called and was connected to a fast-talking, blunt and pushy representative who told me that I needed a plethora of accessories.

When I politely declined, he told me the camera I chose was sold out, my order was cancelled and I would receive an e-mail. There was no e-mail so I called again and was told, in an annoyed and brusque tone, that the order was cancelled and then he hung up the phone. This goes beyond "bait and switch" to "bait and cancel."
