I first contacted thelogoloft.com in December 2007 to create my logo Within 4 business days, I did have my logo completed. I was happy.
A week later I decided to order business cards. After I placed the order online, I contacted them to confirm the order. I was told by their Customer Service Rep that I would have to pay an additional charge. There was no mention of an additional charge on the website, so I
did dispute it. The CSR agreed with me and waived the additional fee.
A week went by and I did not receive any proofs, so I sent an e-mail to inquire about the status. I did not receive a reply.
Another week went by and I did not receive any proofs, so I sent a second e-mail to inquire about the status. I did not receive a reply.
Another week or two went by, and I sent a third e-mail. I was growing frustrated, so I picked up the phone and called their office. I was told by Ebony that I would have my proofs "by the end of the business day."
I still did not have my proofs for another 3 business days, so I called the office again. I was told I would have it "by the end of the business day."
The next day I finally received my proofs. Unfortunately for me, the artist misspelled "president," so I had to submit a correction. More than 5 business
days went by before I heard anything. I sent an e-mail to the lead CSR (Jennifer Miller, whom I truly feel sorry for) telling her I was annoyed that I still
hadn't received my revised proofs. I cc'ed Vice President Lucy Carr on this e-mail. Within 2 days I finally received my final draft and was told I would be receiving my business cards by the end of the following week.
I would like to point out that thelogoloft.com charged my credit card in early January and these products still hadn't been delivered by the end of February. This is illegal!
After a week, I e-mailed Jennifer Miller (with another cc to Vice President Lucy Carr) to find out the status of my order. I did not receive a reply from either of them.
I was growing increasingly frustrated. I did quite
a bit of researching on the internet and found thelogoloft.com has over 100+ complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau of Alabama.
There are many unfortunate customers out there who never got what they paid for.
Finally, I sent an e-mail to the President (Aaron Carr) the VP (Lucy Carr) and Jennifer Miller, informing them I was going to 1. file a complaint with the BBB of Alabama, and 2. issue a charge back since they hadn't yet
sent me the product they billed me for 6 weeks earlier if I didn't receive a tracking number within 72 hours.
I received the business cards 3 days later. What a headache! If I had not called/e-mailed/threatened them, they never would have sent my order. It's hard to believe that in 2008, a business can get away with treating people this way.
