The Service Companies Wrongful Termination Miami Lakes, Florida

I was hired at the beginning of 2012 to be an HR Associate at a location where a new contract was acquired. I worked many days straight for 10-12 hours a day to start out. It was a lot of work in the beginning but it was proven to be a good learning period for me in what I thought was the start of a career. When I was offered the position I was guaranteed employment for "at least 2 years" from the Director of Human Resources. However, my employment lasted less then 3 months.

I became very ill and was unable to work per doctors orders. Upon my return I provided all necessary documentation to my boss and was then written up and put on a final written warning. I had NEVER been written up prior to that so being put on a final made no sense to me. I tried to dispute it but got no where with it. A few days later I was told I had one week to finish the remainder of my compliance tests so I immediately began taking them. On the following Wednesday I was fired because I "did not complete my compliance testing."

Again I tried to dispute it because I still had 2 more full days to complete my testing. The manager told me it didnt matter and that I was fired. I feel that I was used to open a new office and then wrongfully terminated when they no longer needed me. I did everything from paint the office, hire staff members, organize and go above and beyond what I needed to do. Now Im struggling to receive my last paycheck from them. I DO NOT receommend anyone working for this company at all.
