The Sheet People; American Management System; Glenda Raines Refused to Allow Me to Return Unused Merchandise I was Not Happy With Crown Point Indiana

I ordered 4 sets of Queen sheets from The Sheet People because of what they said on their web site: "Sleep well tonight on luxurious 1800 Thread Count Egyptian Comfort sheet sets from The Sheet People." The price was pretty cheap. Only $39.95 per set, regardless of size. They even offered a rebate of the shipping cost if ordering three or more sets on the same order. They seemed pretty cheap for 1800 thread count, but I ordered 4 sets so I can get the shipping rebate. I never got the rebate.

When I received the sheets they did not have the feel of other sheets I own with only 600 thread count. The 600 thread count sheets I purchased from Sam's Club are made of 100% Egyptian Cotton. The quality was clearly much better than the 1800 thread count "Egyptian Comfort" sheets I received from the sheet people. I have no idea what these sheets are made of. The label just said they are made in China.

I asked the Sheet People if I could return the unused sheets for a refund. They refused to allow me to return the sheets. I told them I will file a dispute with PayPal. They said: "Dispute WHAT.  You ordered, we shipped.  Are you going to be that DIS-HONEST?" PayPal did not help. They said: "During our review, we found that your seller had sufficiently described the merchandise."

They may have sufficiently described their merchandise, but the description is misleading. The sheets are not made from Egyptian Cotton; instead they cal their sheets "Egyptian Comfort" sheets, whatever that is. Be warned: You get what you pay for. Theese sheets are not worth the money. The sheets are cheap and poor quality. They probably won't last two washings. They feel like microfiber. I could never sleep on microfiber sheets.

I paid $70.00 for the 600 thread count 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets from Sam's Club and they are far better quality than the cheap sheets from The Sheet People. If you want good quality 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets you are going to pay more than $39.95 for a Queen Size set. You get what you pay for.
