The Watershed took advantage of a family in desperate need of help delray beach Florida

 My 24 yo son had come to me very ill , desperate , asking for help for drug addiction. i ve been waiting for yrs for this opportunity  him get help.    However, he had to want it.   I was able to get him into a Detox, which our Independent Health covered for 5 days.       However, on the last day of Detox, when he was supposed to be transferred to an Inpt Rehab Program, we were told our Health Plan won t pay for it.   I was completely, panic stricken because I had left it up to the discharge planner rather than try to control the situation.     

Keep in mind, due to his addiction, there was no way he could come home or anywhere near and stay well.      i went OnLine, found The Watershed.     i found myself talking to someone, Ryan, who had recovered himself successfully , from The Watershed. Desperate and afraid, determined to get my son somewhere safe, i felt hopeful to save my son, for the first time in yrs.       Unfortunately, we had to come up with 5,000, which we were told was the cost of the inpt Treatment. plus, of course , airfare. But, we were willing to do that and so, i picked him up from Detox, and to the airport to Fl.   

He was ready to start his new life and SO excited for the first time in yrs.  We paid the money in full. The next three days, after he arrived , we were called repeatedly asking for money, thinking , they must not have realized that we paid it.  We were also informed that our son was doing everything possible to get help, following the Program 100%.  on about the 4th day, staff, Sal, called me to report that the 5000 we paid was only for 10 day when we were made to think that it covered his Inpt program. No one informed us until it was too late that it only covered 10 days.

By this time, my son had settled in, working hard and happy for the first time in yrs to be getting well. on the 10th day, they kicked him out. Sal had agreed with me that this was disgraceful. dishonest and that we d get a refund, however, when i tried to call him, no call back. a little different than the constant stream of phone calls we received after we paid what we were told was the cost. Would anyone in their right mind send their son in desperate need of help to rehab for 10 days?   I am heartsick and disgusted and worried about my son who was for 10 days ecstatic, hopeful. Awful, Unlawful, disgraceful that a Rehab Facility would operate in such a way.
