Therma Tru Doors Selling inferior products with no warranty or technical support Maumee Ohio

I installed 3 Therma Tru doors in 2015 & 2016. They were all 6/0 active/passive units.

They have all 3 leaked terribly. The first door I did get a rep from Moehl millwork to come look at it.

Of course, with barely looking at the situation he said it was an installation problem. Even after proving 

to plumb, square and all edge reveals being perfect it was still installation mistakes. I have been in this business

for close to 30 yrs and I've never seen a high-quality top notch company like Therma Tru used to be go

down hill so badly. It seems like all of these companies that get hooked up with the big box stores lose their

integrity overnight. The side stiles of the edge of the doors swell up at the bottom 3" almost right away and

this is also the area where the sill to the jamb connection starts leaking. I would suggest to anyone reading

this if you're going to buy a Therma Tru door, make sure there is a roof over the area and well protected from

the weather and don't expect any help from the company if something goes wrong.
