TICA Cabin Rentals owes us over 1100.00 and refuses to pay! Blue Ridge Georgia

We hired Tica Cabin Rentals of Blue Ridge Ga, run by Thelma and Greg Coffone, to manage our property in Blue Ridge GA.

In the summer of 2008 the rental payments for our cabin began coming later and later and we usually had to make multiple phone calls before getting any response. They would make all kinds of excuses and when the statements and checks would finally come, there were all kinds of outrageous charges. (Like 25.00 to change a light bulb, for example.)

Finally in October, they stopped paying us all together. They kept renting out our property and collecting money, while we received nothing. They even had the nerve to use our cabin for a complimentary week.

After they arrogantly used our cabin for a complimentary week, someone left on the heater and fans. Our utilities jumped 300% that month and we received a 300.00 electric bill and a 400.00 gas bill.

They were impossible to reach by phone or e-mail. And they would answer the phone they told us nothing but LIES!!

After reporting them to the Vacation Rental Management Association for falsely claiming to be members in good standing, we received a call from Thelma Coffone and agreed to a reduced amount due and to a payment schedule.

Well, after 1 month of payment they have stopped paying us again. And once again they are impossible to get in touch with and refuse to honor the contract.

We have learned that they are still signing up new cabins and still not paying the owners the rental moneys that are due. In my opinion this is criminal!!!

Thelma and Gregg Coffone, along with Valerie Deal (she signs the checks) are scam artists, liars and need to pay us the money that they owe!
