There is no exception to paperless tickets.  My daughter's friend living in California bought tickets for her and my daughters to attend the Justin Bieber concert here in AZ.  Her father put the tickets on his credit card.  She will be visiting for a week before attending the concert.  Ticketmaster will only accept the credit card on which the tickets were purchased along with a valid ID.     NO exceptions. How is the father supposed to be without his driver's license and credit card for a week?

I offered to have copies of both documents and hoped there would be some way around this.  Some sort of Will Call pick up.  What do concert promoters do?  The only solution they offered was to refund the money or offer nosebleed seats which have paper tickets.

This is crushing some faithful Justin Bieber fans.

I understand the need to control scalpers but really.  Ticketmaster blamed the father for purchasing paperless tickets.  The customer service reps (the 3 that I spoke with) were rude.  It is hard to stay pleasant when they just keep reading the same thing.  You ask to speak to a supervisor and the reps tell me that it would be a waste of my time.  I'm sure there needs to be something in place for these situations. Not like they told me that if they made an exception for me that everyone would have to have exceptions.

Ticketmaster rip-off!

AUTHOR: random555 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 23, 2010

I've never been more unsatisfied with any buisness before. Just last week my friend and I were planning to go to The Middle East in Cambridge, MA for the Mountain Dew Green Label Tour Concert. We went online and searched up all information (who will be playing, times, etc.) Finally we decided to order two tickets. My friend and I have never ordered from ticketmaster before, so this expierience does not make us want to use it's services again. Apparently, two concerts were going on at the same time. One upstairs and the other downstairs. We were planning on going to the one downstairs and the page clearly stated thisGreen Label Tour starring The Cool Kids and Theophilus London; All ages; doors open at 7pm; General Admission. There we have it! My friend goes to pick up the tickets, because they were on her credit card, and then she gets the bad news. While she is in the car she reads the tickets: The Middle East Upstairs; Three Day Threshold; 18+; doors open at 7pm; ID Required. WHAT?? After Ticketmaster clearly stated that we were ordering tickets for the Mountain Dew Green Label Tour...what happens? They give us the wrong tickets. We never got our money back and nothing was done by Ticketmaster to swap or return tickets.
