ticketnetwork.com and Ticket Galaxy sold me $39 tickets to Celtic Women for $156 PLUS $31.20 service fee for EACH TICKET, PLUS $15 mailing charge.

Celtic Women web site sent me to ticketgalaxy.com to purchase tickets.  I don't buy concert tickets, ever.  I don't much care for concerts.  So, I was pretty naive.  I paid $156 for each ticket plus $31.20 for each ticket, plus $15 shipping.  I thought it was pretty high, but my wife loves Celtic Women and I wanted to give her a nice gift.  When I got the tickets I saw that they have a face value of $39.  

I don't mind paying a little money for some convenience, but I paid $397 for tickets that have a face value of $78.  Next time I am going to take the 10-minute drive and spend the hour or so in line at the box office.  

Fool me once, shame on you.  But they are not going to fool me again, because I am no fool.  

I am also going to send a nastygram to Celtic Women for doing business with such ripoff artists.  I hope Celtic Women send a wise guy with a ball bat to get some more money from these two companies as a result of my letter.  Let them all limp to work after their knees heal up.

I do not know the relationship between Ticket Galaxy and ticketnetwork.com, but I bought the tickets on ticketgalaxy.com, and I received the tickets from ticketnetwork.com.  So, they are in cahoots.
