I gave her a deposit a LONG time ago.  She was always very hard to contact.  Used excuses, like she had pneumonia.  Heard from another bride that her kids got swine flu and that's why she hasn't been able to finish her work and return calls.  There are so many brides that have complained about not getting their pictures from their wedding.  When I read this, I tried to contact her to say I wanted my deposit back and of course never heard anything.  I would like to file a small claims against her to get my money back, but it will cost a big chunk of the deposit I gave her.  I can't believe there is nothing that can be done and she can just get away with ripping people off.  I still have to pay another deposit to hire a professional photographer and I already had a small budget for the wedding.  I wish all the people who she ripped off could get together and get our money back.
