I went to TiresPlus to get a simple oilchange. After waiting for two hours, manager of store(Drake) comes to let me know one of the unskilled employees overfilled my oil tank, so when they turned my vehicle on it broke a seal in my engine. A half hour later the manager comes back stating TiresPlus was going to rent me a vehicle until mine is fixed. After wasting 3hours of my day already Drake calls Enterprise RentaCar. The rental company comes to the TiresPlus to take me to their office to get a car. At that point I went to the carrental co signed the papers i was asked to sign to drive the vehicle. I asked if I would be receiving a bill from Enterprise. Was told TiresPlus put car on their account.

I then drove away with the rental. TiresPlus called me on May 5th 03 stating my vehicle was finished. I then asked Drake(manager) if I should take rental car to Enterprise or to TiresPlus? He told me "Bring to the shop I'll call to have them pick up vehicle." I returned to TiresPlus May 5th 03 late afternoon to drop off and pick up my car. I was not asked to sign any documents I exchanged keys with Drake(mngr). One month later in June the engine to my Mitsubishi Mirage blew. Being a 21 yrold female I junked the car.

Did not enter my mind that TiresPlus could've had something to do with it, until was mentioned to me by the automotive mechanic. well, that was that I couldn't do anything about it without the car. THATS NOT ALL!! I then receive a bill in the mail from Enterprise RentaCar stating I owe approx.$472.00. I then was outraged and called TiresPlus to resolve. Once again I talked to Drake(mngr) and explained the situation. He said that he called Enterprise to pick up car May 5th and they did not arrive until May 8th or 9th.

TiresPlus only paid until the 5th, so Enterprise put me responsible to pay for the remaining 3days plus the liability ins. for a car I did not have. I might be overreacting a little but I definitly DO NOT think I should have to pay a penny to anybody for the MESSUP!!!!!

Its not my fault TiresPlus has unexperienced employees, my vehicle was running great before I went to Tires Plus. TiresPlus is still currently refusing to pay the remainder balance to Enterprise, since I signed the papers to drive the rental car I am liable.

Now I have $472.00 on my credit report, and collectors threatening to sue me if I do not pay. So basically going to TiresPlus to get an oilchange happened to be a lifelong headache, and costed me $4000 dollars for a new car. I am refusing to pay the balance of that acct. and will definitley fight this case in court.
