Regarding order # C-271-12, Inv# 212-39
On July 13, 2007, I was contacted by a sales representative from TKO Sports to purchase advertising space on athletic t-shirts for a high school. The shirts were to be delivered to a high school that my children attend. My mistake was not asking when these shirts were to be delivered to the school.
At the end of October, 2007, I called to find out if and when the shirts were to be delivered. I was told an advertiser had dropped and they were trying to fill the space, and to call back in a couple of weeks.
I called back in 4 weeks, I was told that the shirts were in production and to call back in a couple of weeks.
I called back the middle of December and was told the same, call back in a couple of weeks.I called back the beginning of January, I was told the shirts are in a warehouse, call back in a couple of weeks. I called the middle of January and was told, just a couple more weeks.
I faxed a letter of demand to TKO Sports on January 30th stating I would like either proof that the shirts had been delivered, or a full refund of my payment. I did not receive a response. I also sent an email with the same to tkosportscorporate@yahoo.co, I did not hear back.
I called the first week of February, I was told the shirts are in a warehouse, call back in a couple of weeks. Instead, I demanded to speak with who was in charge. I was put on hold for several minutes, when someone finally returned, I was told that "Jeff" would call me back within 5 minutes. It has now been 4 days, I haven't heard from Jeff.
Unless I hear from Jeff, and there IS a satisfying answer to my dilema, I will post my complaints with the Texas Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau and the National Association of Consumer Fraud. I will make sure that this company will appear whenever someone searches them on the internet.

Regarding TKO's offer to run my next campaign for free to offset their mistakes, they never followed through. I was never personally contacted by anyone at TKO with this FREE offer. DON'T believe what you hear or read from this company!!!

YES, IT'S TRUE WE DID HAVE SOME DELAYS WITH THE FINAL PRODUCT. WE COORDINATE WITH SEVERAL SPONSORS TO MAKE THESE FUNDRAISING PROJECTS FOR THE SCHOOLS HAPPEN AND SOMETIMES WE SIGN SPONSORS THAT ARE LESS THAN RELIABLE. OUR NORMAL DELIVERY TIME FROM START TO FINISH IS 90 DAYS. THE NORMAL AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE PRODUCT( T-SHIRTS) TO BE WORN AND USED IS ABOUT 1-2 YEARS. TO MOST PEOPLE IT'S WORTH THE WAIT TO SPONSOR THE SCHOOLS AND HAVE YOUR BUSINESS ON THE ATHLETIC T-SHIRTS THAT WILL BE USED FOR A WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR.( FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, BASEBALL,ETC.)
IN THIS PARTICULAR CASE OUR PRINTING AND SHIPPING FROM START TO FINISH WAS ABOUT 180 DAYS. LONGER THAN WE LIKE TO TAKE BUT WE DID FINISH THE PROJECT AND THE SCHOOL WILL BE USING THESE SHIRTS FOR THE 08-09 SCHOOL YEAR. ALSO, DUE TO THE IMPROMPTNESS, WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO RUN A FREE SPONSORSHIP AT NO COST FOR PHIL. THIS WAS OFFERED TO HIM AND WE WILL HONOR IT. OTHER THAN THAT, WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE ANY CALLS AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT OUR SPONSORS MAY HAVE ABOUT THE STATUS OF ANY PENDING PROJECT.OUR #1 GOAL IS TO MAKE SURE THE SCHOOLS AND SPONSORS WE WORK WITH GET A QUALITY PRODUCT THAT BENEFITS THE ATHLETIC DEPTS. AND THE BUSINESS THAT SPONSOR THEM.
( FOR QUALITY CONTROL WE SOMETIMES CALL OUR SPONSOR TO MAKE SURE THEY RECEIVED THEIR SHIRT. WE DID CALL PHIL ON MARCH 13TH. HE SAID THE SHIRTS LOOK GREAT!

The order was placed on July 13, 2007, the product arrived on March 11, 2008. In my opinion, I could have placed my advertising dollars into something a bit more immediate. The company had issues with losing additional advertisers for the product I had also purchased. I do feel TKO Advertising had a responsibility to contact the advertisers that DID come through for them, letting us know about the delay.
The only call I finally did receive from the company was today (March 13, 2008) when they asked if I received my product and to ask me to update this report.
My opinion, buyer beware, make sure you get your agreement with this company in writing with a delivery date of your product.
