Here is another one of the scams that was found on craigslist concerning a deal too good to be true on a new iPhone 4, a bogus claim of needing money from overseas, and a fake international shipping company called TNT International Express Inc. Here is the conversation that followed my interest in purchasing from this person who calls herself "Arianna Blake":

<ME>

Hello, I just saw your ad on Craig's List for a 32gig iPhone 4. I am interested in purchasing it from you if you still have it available. Thank you for your time and if you could please let me know either way if you have it or not I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, I am getting back to you regarding the iPhone 4 with 32GB from Craigslist

My name is Arianna and I am now in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.
I am selling the iPhone for $400 USD. I have attached some pics with it to this email.
The iPhone is still available and I hope you are still interested. I bought the iPhone brand new one week ago. The phone is locked with AT&T.
About the iPhone I can say it's in perfect shape, as I used it only for a few days. Included in the $400 price is everything that came with the iPhone when I bought it new.
The iPhone is here with me.
I tried to be as thorough as I could with the presentation so you can have all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it.

Please get back to me and let me know if you like the iPhone if you're really interested in buying it.

Thanks,

<ME>

Hello again, I am very happy you replied to my email regarding the iPhone 4. I am still interested in it but I am curious on how you plan on shipping it to me and how you would like to be payed. If you want to use Paypal or something else that is secure I believe that would be for the best. I'm sorry if I sound skeptical but I just don't want to get burned. Thanks again for the reply and I hope to hear from you again.

Hi,

I understand your concern but this is not the case. I'm just trying to sell my iphone.

Well, I found a way to sell you the iphone that will cover the both of us. It's a worldwide delivery company called TNT. They have a service that will allow you to test the iphone before I receive my payment.

Please go to the TNT website below and read their procedure so we can be on the same page:

I will pay the TNT shipping fee.

Thanks.

!!!!!Do NOT Listen to what they have to say. Remember what your Mother always said... If it is too good to be true, it probably is.!!!!!
