Todd Von Stein has a very distinctive method of preying on women and it looks like he's at it again with a new store in Des Moines' East Village called 'Vintage Mid Mod & Vino'.  It's only a matter of time before he runs this business into the ground like all the others he has such as Design Street, Design Shoppe dba Designsmith, Salvage Studio Midwest.  Other businesses associated with him are Preservation Resource Group (PRG, LLC), New Era Design Group and ???.  This guy changes business names more than most women change clothes! 

He usually identifies himself as 'Todd' or his Facebook page 'PRG Todd' due to his bad reputation.  As with other NUMEROUS RipOff Report posts, he poses as a Christian, keeps a Bible laying around, and somehow manipulates women into fronting a business for him.  His new venture is located at 500 E. Locust in East Village, Des Moines, IA...6th floor!  He lived at this exact address for a period a few years ago before running Designsmith into bankruptcy.  Teachout Properties which owns this building sued he and former business 'partner', Pam George for months of non-payment of rent.  This can be found at Iowa Courts Online under 'Pam George and Todd Bon Stein (misspelled) vs. Teachout Prop.

He is not a 'decent guy', nor 'humble' as he describes himself.  He is arrogant and thinks he is better than any architect or designer (even though he has NO education).  He thumbs his nose at the court system and has no regard for the welfare of others!  He demeans women to exert control over them.  He has been sued DOZENS of times and was arrested for domestic assault last winter in Wayne County, IA.  Translation = Todd Von Stein hits women.  Per other RipOff Report posts, he steals the work of former employees to pass it off as his own. 

Please do not do business or associate yourself in ANY WAY with this man who has no conscience!  He will find a way to steal from you, cause you financial ruin and tarnish your reputation.  Oh, and Todd Von Stein will blame YOU for his troubles, if you ask him about his pas HE is always the victim of bad circumstances.  Sociopath.
