I make my living with my truck. I dropped my truck off to Towbin Dodge to have some warrantee work done plus some other concerns I had. In December I had a Fly wheel among several other things replaced by Towbin Dodge, upon picking the truck up I noticed a sound in the drivetrain of the truck that was not there prior to the repair. I immediately informed the service manager Jeff Rogers and he asked me if I could leave it over the weekend and I said I can't but will bring it back at a later date. I brought the truck back a few weeks later and asked them to look into the problem and also I developed another problem I wanted them to look at. They said sure thing and I left the truck, explaining to them I will need the truck back by next week, no excuses. After four days of the truck sitting there, I got a call and was asked to approve a $300 dignostics charge. I refused and asked them why am I being billed for something that was under warrantee and I never did get a straight anwser. Jeff told me he was in contact with Tech athority and waiting for a call back from them but they are so backed up and don't have enough help.I told him if his mechanics can't fix the problem let me know and I will taek it to another dealer. Jeff told me it's not that ,it's waiting for tech athorities approval. My truck sat longer and I started to call three times a day to speek to Jeff Rogers the service manager and he started screening the calls and would refuse my call. After 14 days of this I finally got a call and was told my truck was repaired and come and pick it up which I did the following day. I drove my truck home, parked it, woke up the next morning drove my truck 2 blocks and the same problem happeded all over again. I took the truck to another dealer first thing Monday morning and they had my problem fixed in a day. I lost $3000 of rental truck fees due to Towbin's unneeded delays. Also, when I took my truck to the second dealer, they contacted tech authority to get a history of the repair. Jeff Rogers of Towbin Dodge, Never contacted Tech authority and never informed them of the problem in the first place. Advise, don't ever have a car serviced by Towbin Dodge or anywhere Jeff Rogers may work after he is fired from Towbin Dodge.

Eric, your post doesn't surprise me in the least. After watching Tobin Dodge highlighted on the Arts and Entertainment Channel as "King of Cars" and "Chop's" pedantic, narcissistic, frantic actions, one couldn't expect any kind of service or even much ethnicity existing at that zoo.

The A&E Channel has provided what amounts to thousands of dollars of advertising to this tacky circus of a car dealer. It's highly unlikely "Chop" (whatever his name REALLY is) is even concerned with return business.

After viewing a couple of the stressful episodes of that fiasco, I commented to my wife wild horses couldn't drag me even near that debacle of a pseudo legitimate car dealership.

Just a brief viewing of the program is sufficient exposure to reveal the stressful, ambiguous atmosphere endured by the employees.
Hype, confusion, turbulence are the order of the day.

Sadly, "Chop" must be given credit for one issue in the overall view of car dealers. "Chop, the King of Cars" makes most normal dealers seem as serene as a meeting of the church choir.

A quick look of the first hurdle of business discloses the first speed bump of doing business on a purchase: $651.11 before we even get to the price of the car: (doc fees of $397.30, smog fee of $30.56, title fee of $28.25, VTR Fee of $195,)

The most reprehensible being the nearly $400. "doc. fee". This is just a foo-foo fee dreamed up by the greedy car dealers many years ago. Its only change has been a steady escalation of the price.

OK! I'll be the first to admit! This is my take and opinion on a car dealer. I don't like or trust car dealers. Tobin Dodge is "King of Cars", alright. "King of Dealers" to avoid I.M.H.O. ! The epitome of the reason car dealers have such a shabby, unethical reputation.
