Tower Loan Anitra Olive, Manager Very rude, unprofessional, harrassing, demeaning, demanding, ultimatums causing stress. Canton, Mississippi

This 5-year loan is due to run out the end of this year.  The entire time has been a challenge for us to keep up payments due to the economy.  Tried to secure Obama's loan modification plan.  Tower Loan denied application and also denied a temporary stay of 60 days or even a balloon payment at the end of term.  Hence, we have continued to struggle, staying within 1-2 payments past due.  On 04/6/2012, TL advised we wee $139.00 delinquent and unless arrangments were made by 04/13/2012, legal action would be taken.  Husband paid $150.00 on 04/13/2012.  Then Ms. Olive sent letter daqted 04/20/2012, postmarked 04/21/2012 (a Saturday) that delinquent amount was $1198.88 and arrangements needed t be made by 04/23/2012 to avoid further legal action. The letter did not arrive at our mailbox until 04/25/2012, which made it impossible to meet such a demand. 

Because I have been fighting throat cancer, I have not been able to discuss matters on the phone.  Instead, on that same date, 04/25/2012, I wrote Ms. Olive and copied various agencies regarding the confusion on the account balance and asking for clarification.  Have not heard any answer from Ms. Olive.  Attorney General's office sent me the form to file a complaint and I am doing so.  Now, on, 05/16/2012 Ms. Olive has continued the verbal harrassment in phone conversations to my husband, Billy.  I sent letter with postdated check of 05/25/2012 for $600.00 on 05/17/2012.  On 05/18/2012, Ms. Olive called my husband with another one of her rude, demeaning tones and demands. I am preparing another letter today, 05/12/2012, that will include a check for $150.00 that my husband will hand deliver t them on 05/14/2012.  Letter asks again for clarification of the account conflicting amounts. 

I expect to keep hearing the same rhetoric from Ms. Oliver in the coming days and weeks.  Can't wait to get this account paid off.  BTW-we still keep receiving solicitation mail from her that we can apply for up to $10,000!!  Yeah, right.  I would sooner go to the Mafia!!
