Absolutely the most deceptive "loan" business there is. We had to use this company to purchase an Amish barn because we had just paid off our daughters' student loans and we were broke! LOL. The barn company - Good. Tower Loan - very bad. Instead of going to the bank (FICO is 790), the NO interest loan being offered for 2 years seemed like a great idea. So, Instead of paying the minimum amount required each month, we ALWAYS paid $ 50 ~ $ 60 extra each month. I calculated our loan to be paid off last May and honestly mis-calculated. Instead, on the first of June, we still owed a balance of $ 70, which I didn't realize. Instead of Tower Loan contacting us right away, as any company would to remind you of a late payment (we've had NONE in over 25 years) they waited until the middle of September to notify us. September was the two year deadline! Then, Tower Loan said we owed another $ 800 in interest because we didn't pay off the loan in two years! I went into the Nixa office to speak with the manager to inquire why they waited 4 months to notify me and asked if I could simply pay the $ 70 and some interest considering the excellent payment record we had. The manager acknowledged our good record but said I should have kept better track of my finances! She did not offer an explanation for the 4 month delay in notifying us. Was she rude and short with me plus condescending?? Well, I am being kind here, but she was absolutely the worst kind of person and employee dealing with the public there is, much less being a "manager." ZERO customer consideration. She cut me short and said she had to get back to her work, got up and left me sitting there. I am just about to pay off the $ 800 dollars in interest. And I still get "offers" in the mail from them! Please, avoid them like the plague !!!!

Bull!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

This is YOUR account with which it is YOUR responsibility to manage and pay according to the terms and conditions thereof. Since YOU freely admitted to knowing about the terms and conditions of the interest free offer, it was incumbent upon YOU. to be certain YOUR payments met the requirements of the offer. By YOUR OWN ADMISSION, you failed to do that. As such, it was YOU who kicked YOURSELF out of the qualifications to meet said offer. There is very obviously, NO DECEPTION on their part. The "predatory" whining is nothing more than YOUR sorry attempt to defame them because YOU didn't get YOUR own way. GROW UP!
