Well I am writing this to confirm the other reports listed as they are correct. Some of them are older but I thought I would add this so there would be one more up to date. This is for real so do not be fooled. I was working at another job and had already decided to leave when I received a call and email from the local recruiter here in Dallas about the "opportunity". I should have been alerted because she kept saying the opportunity which people refer to when something is too good to be true, but for some reason my guard was down this day. I listened to what she had to say and even had several conversations about it and expressed my concerns about how legitimate this was because it just sounded too easy. So I decided to give it a shot.

Now I usually don't participate in this type of negativity as it just takes time to do and if it is not adding to me it is taking away. Well I figured they have already wasted enough of my time today so what is a few more minutes. I'm a fast typist! So I completed the training yesterday and like clockwork received a call from my team leader who sounded like a sales guy. You know the kind of guy you just walk away from or hang up on when they start talking. But I'm being optimistic so I listen. I get the information, study, listen to the CD several times and get ready to go on my first appointment. Before I go, I am running a bit late so I call my TL to get the phone number so I can inform him we are running a bit behind due to the address I was given was incorrect (1st sign). Jason (my TL) told me don't worry about it as the telemarketer tells them we are just going to have someone in the area to stop by and go over some information with you (2nd sign, not a legit appt). Now when I was conducting my phone interview, the recruiter and the guy doing the training told us that the appointements are legitimate and confirmed by a Quality Assurance team who goes back and listens to calls and if they are not solid appointments, they will cancel them. Well it turns out the QA team must have been on vacation for the past few weeks because when I arrived, the owner was not there. So I called him on my cell phone and his initial response was, "I told them on the phone that I wasn't interested and it would be a waste of time for you to come out here." I called my TL and he gave me my next appt a few hours later. I had a few errands to run so, cool. So I arrive at the next appt and it's at a residence! (3rd sign) Owner opens the door with a bewildered look on his face and I introduce myself. He says the same things as the last guy except he adds, "I told them that I was having a tough time making ends meet and the business was really struggling to stay afloat." So now I'm done!

So now I call Jason and he does not answer and I am told to call back in an hour. But at this point I was done. I found the nearest dumpster and threw my materials in it. I went home and began the search again for another job. I then get a call about 3 hours later from the recruiter returning my call and she gets the TL and his boss involved and the guy actually had the nerve to say again that in not so many words that the appointments are not legitimate! Can you believe it! He told me they are just getting an interest from the owner and setting very, very, tentative appointments and its up to us to close the sale, from someone who is on the verge of going out of business. So after a few hours and 2 sales calls, I decided to hang up my credit card processor. I don't have to get my a*s kicked for a month or two to know these people are good at pulling the sheet over your eyes, only to bend you over. And they won't use vaseline! Take it for what it's worth!
