I just got off the phone with the FTC. Please go to their website. The story hit today about Transnet Wireless. I was told that the FTC now has all of Transnet's records and will eventually contact everyone who is a victim.
Please go to their site and file a complaint and tell you story to them.
You do not "need" an attorney or a class action lawsuit to be a part of the case. All victims are a part of the case. But PLEASE file a complaint. The case could take a couple of years to settle. Please contact the FTC before you pay out more money on lawyers and lawsuits.
I'm NOT saying you can't sue them. But, I have been told by one attorney that I must file a motion to be in the "lawsuit" and he would need $2250.00 as a retainer. A class action lawsuit that starting wants $2300.00 plus 33.33% of your settlement.
I'm trying to start a group on Yahoo for victims to discuss their situations. Do a search for it in a few days. I also filed with the Attorney Generals office in FL and the Dept of Consumer Services in FL. Complain to everyone who will listen !!!
