Travco Enterprises inc Kirby Company sales tatics appalling. . York, Pennsylvania

Kirby of York sent a salesmen out to our neighborhood to force themselves into peoples homes.  My husband has alzheimers and was totally confused about why they were there so my daughter told them they had to go.  The one salesmen forced his way into the house and started his speech.  We just laid hardwood floors and had a white rug in the living room. This rug was brand new and was just laid on the floor.  This guy insisted on showing his product was amazing so he put a dark footprint on the rug and used his machine  to no avail.  The product he used took the color out of the rug and left the texture of the material pilled. He used it all over the rug and totally ruined it.  He was told NOT to put product on the rug because it was wool and silk and needed cleaned a special way.  I contacted the company and talked to someone who said that the manger would have to take care of it and he would retrun my call.  After many attemps he never called me back. I contacted the corporation and they were not willing to help in any way.  This company is a scam and they prey on people.  They are forceful and rude.  DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY  They take your money and treat you badly.  I paid 600.00 for this rug and it is ruined .  They need to be held accoutable for damages
