Travco Enterprises Inc SCAM, untrustworthy, rude, DO NOT let these people come into your home! York Pennsylvania

 Travco Enterprises located in York PA, is the worst business to deal with. They are untrustworthy, rude and extreme scam artists. They come door to door to sell their kirby vacuums; they state that they want to clean your carpets for free and that it will only take a few minutes. Hours later they are still in your house pushing the purchase of the vacuum. The  vacuum is $2000, but they will "get the price down for you because we want to make a sale." In the end, mistakenly we purchased the vacuum for $1400. We had three days according to the contract to cancel the sale by signing the appropriate cancellation paperwork, having the post office date it with the date and send it through the mail. We made the mistake of not sending it certfied. Since it was not sent certified-they claimed that they never recieved our paperwork, so "therefore we are still required to pay off the vacuum in full." After many phone calls, we were still unable to get the issue resolved. They said that they would not accept any copies of the signed paperwork because "I could have done that yesterday." I forgot to mention that they had verbal confirmation from me that I wanted to cancel the day after the purchase-within the limited three days. Everytime I had to speak with this company and its owner Travis Wyble-it has been a horrible experience. They are rude and distasteful.

I sent them a letter to see if we could peacefull resolve the issue. I explained to them that I had followed the verbage of the contract and that I sent all the necessary paperwork to cancel the sale. Included in the lette was our position that mailing the signed cancellation met the burden of the contract, not their claim of reciept or not reciept. They did not repond to the letter. So we took the kirby and all the equipment to their office in York and dropped everything off. They yelled and screamed and kicked us out. BUT these people will not get a cent from us. They do not deserve any bodys business. They are sleezy sales people and their company should go out of business because they are not worthy of owning and operating anything. DO NOT let these people into your home EVER!
