After communicating with a employee of this company for 2 weeks, was told that a deal was made, just needed to put 2500 dollars down. After several confirmations via email, I made trip from Ottawa to Toronto.
Arrive to office of this place, left waiting for 3-4 hours, only for this guy who told me 2500 down, all of a sudden needed 4500 down. I said no, im outta here, as I went there with a back up plan at another dealership, but this truck was what I wanted. When I told him I was outta here, he said wait....wait, Ill work on it. 2 hours later comes out and says ok, got it done, lets sign documents. Brings me up to a room, starts recording, and hurridly runs me through signing these documents, was told needs to be done fast so truck can get plated that day. Was told my payment would be 523 a month.
Recive "welcome package" in mail, open it up, says right there on a card, your payment is 523 a month. Didnt look through it, cause I had no reason to as I just signed documents. Well low and behold first payment is 800 dollars, I call and they say, well you signed a promissory note. I said no I didnt, turns out they forged a document for a additional 2000 dollars, and claim that my signature on a random page, NOT THE PROMISSORY NOTE ITSELF, is me signing off on it. The gull, and the brazeness of how they did this is astonishing.
Call and speak with people, ask for documents, ask to get pay date changed, they say, ya, ya ya, and then dont follow through on it, I have honestley never have seen such complete lack of disregard in busniess in my life.
Ask for the recording of when I signed the documents, refused to give it to me. ALL OF THIS CAN AND WILL BE PROVEN, I have documents, and a representative who cant even contact people himself, E-MAILS bouncing back as if the people have blocked you.
Ive contacted legal counsel, and this is beyond cut and dry and possible criminal charges will be filed. i was told, so stay tuned folks, this company is going to be exploited for the shadiness, lying, criminal activites is been doing, and is known for.
Web is littered of horror stories, where there is smoke there is fire. And if I get a rebutt saying, Im lying, or there is no truth/im not a client, I WILL POST EMAILS, DOCUMENTS AND MATERIALS.

#4 UPDATE Employee
Investigation Findings

Hi Dom10,
The allegations you have made are very serious and due to that we have begun an immediate investigation of this file as we want to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and respectfully. My goal is not to try and find out why we were right, but it is to get to the truth of what happened which may include any errors we have committed. The ultimate goal is to try to get customer satisfaction as well as ensuring that any problems that may have occurred will not happen again. It is for this reason that we are one of the largest non-bank or manufacturer owned lenders in the country.
Based on your username and location of Ottawa I was able to locate your file and as the Chief Operations Officer I was able to access the recording of the meeting when you signed the documents in addition to getting access to all emails sent to you and received from your email address on file.
I have since listened to the recording of when you signed the documents in addition to all email exchanges from when you first applied for a loan all of the way until you were dealing with the VP of the Default Department.
From the recordings I can confirm that you did understand that you were provided with a short term loan on the balance you were not able to come up with that was due on delivery. I know that you understood this because in the recording you stated yourself why you were signing the promissory note (which is the short term loan) and you can then hear the TREND employee asking you to sign on the document in addition to asking you to sign a second document that states your buyout of the short term loan (also known as an amortization schedule). Based on the above, I am confident that any legal action you bring against TREND regarding not signing this document will be ruled in our favour.
From reading your account history and emails you have sent to my staff I can see that you are very frustrated with your financial situation now. Unfortunately, our policy is that we will attempt to collect on any loan that we provided to any consumer which most people will agree is reasonable for a lender to do as long as it is done in a respectful and professional manner. I can also see that in the email correspondence with our Default Department you were treated with the utmost respect regardless of the replies we were receiving back from you.
To conclude, I can confirm that you were made aware of the short term loan and that you have signed the documents. It is unfortunate that something that should have been positive, which is trying to assist you by providing you a short term loan on the amount you were not able to come up with on delivery, ended up having a negative outcome.

Right On Target

You stated you hurridly ran thru the signing. As per your own admission, how would you know what you signed because they wanted you to rush thru the process which you too gladly did! They knew what they were doing and you played along perfectly rather than being a smart consumer and taking time to read each and every paper you were signing. However, in sumation, I see I was initially perfectly on point as a result of your tired, old, worn out dodge of "you must work for them".

Cant read what isnt disclosed, I would have cought that I was being charged another 2000 and been out of there, like I stated earlier. Not sure where the hell your coming from, but this one floats right past you. THE PROBLEM IS THE CREATION OF DOCUMENTS THAT WERE NOT DISCLOSED TO ME, BECASUE IF THEY WERE IT WAS A LOST SALE. THEY DECIDED TO WAIT UNTIL THE MONEY WAS YANKED FROM MY ACCOUNT BEFORE I FOUND ABOUT THIER SLIMEY SCAM.
BUT IM SURE YOU WOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT BRO! RIGHT? YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO SEE OBJECTS THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.
Thats all you took away from that report, you need to go back to school.

BOTTOM LINE--No matter what way you try to blame them or what excuse you use.....by YOUR OWN ADMISSION, it was YOU who failed to read what YOU signed and YOU agreed to! YOU agreed to terms and conditions without having the SLIGHTEST CLUE what those terms and conditions are/were. Now you come here with your blamethrower claiming its their fault!
It is absolutely amazing an adult would do something as dumb as this!
