Trend Micro Rebate ripoff scam Internet

I filed a rebate with Trend Micro for their PC Cillin internet security product. After carefully checking the envelope to make sure it included all of the contents required for the rebate, I sent it in.

Just today, I get a postcard from Trend Micro saying that my submission did not include a sales receipt. I call the representative, and she was absolutely no help. I clearly remember including the sales receipt and CD Rom of my old security software when I sent in the rebate. Now the representative tells me they don't have either of these.

Of course the representative simply kept apologizing at the circumstances. She then tells me that I should resend a copy of both the receipt and CD-Rom (as if I had an additional copy of this).

It's totally their word against mine. I'm college educated and know how to follow directions. I clearly follwed the terms of the rebate, but now Trend Micro does not want to fufill it's side of the bargain. This is the last time I ever purchase a Trend Micro product.
