Tribeca Lending Group ripoff Salem New Hampshire

Tribeca Lending Group rip me off! Applied for a loan thinking I was applying thru Tribeca Lending CORPORATION not group. Same story as everyone else posted to this site. Sent 1066 dollars and even paid $65.00 to send the money. I was told I would get the Western Union Fee Back.

Even after I told them I reported them to the New Hampshire BBB, which I did almost immediately after sending the money, they still told me the same story, a womean who was waiting for a refund had filed a complaint. Anyway had I just checked the New Hampshire BBB first, this would not have happened. In two minutes I knew I had been scammed. You can call them (BBB) at 603-224-1991 to make a report. Also call Phone Busters at 1-888-495-8501 (Canada's equivalent to US Federal Trade Commission.)and make a report their also.

Simple Tips I knew and should have followed: Tribeca's Web site was to limited in information. Only one contact number which you always had to go through an automated phone system before reaching a real person. You always need multiple copies of loan documents. I knew the moment I saw the papers they were bogus, but because I had never done business through a venture capitalist, I thought "well maybe". Never send money up front for any loan.

Most importantly of all, check out the company yourself. I was trying to help out another business women who assured me she had checked out the company and they were legimate. Unfortunately I figured out after the fact, she checked out Tribeca Lending Corporation, not Tribeca Lending Group. And lastly, you can always call the local Postal Service to inquire if the address is a legitimate "Physical" address, not some P.O. Box with a stree address name.
