You are looking to better yourself and you are not sure what school you should choose? Definately do not choose TRIOS COLLEGE or you will be kicking yourself for the duration of your course. Regardless of what course you choose, all their teachers are less than satisfactory. I have seen loud unprofessional verbal and near physical disputes between teachers and students at this college. They have a picture of a former student on the wall in the lobby for crying out loud who has a restraining order against him from one of the teachers because he threatened to shoot everyone in the school. This is how frustrating the school will make you become. Go to a normal school. Avoid this private career college at all costs. It is overpriced. You will not be told the breakdown costs for your books etc...I mean what each book costs because they incorporate a bunch of different fees into what they call your BOOK PORTION. They generate extra money this way and that is what they are in business for, to take all your money! They also give you photocopied books because they are able to save more money that way as well. For all the I.T courses, they won't allow you to book your certification exams until after you have received your final mark. They make you wait 7 days and if a teacher chooses not to input your final mark into the system, with the 7 day guideline, then it is tough luck for you. They will still make you wait. Bottom line about this school is that nobody there cares about the students. As long as they can get your MONEY, then they have done their job and you are left helpless for the remainder of your course. Don't be fooled by the fake smiles and politeness of the people there that greet you and show you around the school. They are simply luring you in for a year of depression. Do a google search on (trios college scam) when you have lots of time to read about the nonsense that goes on there.

#1 UPDATE Employee
This student makes nothing but false claims
AUTHOR: Jason - (Canada)
SUBMITTED: Friday, January 13, 2012
Without defending every unfounded point in this report, there is no proof or truth to the claims this anonymous student is making. As a staff member of the college, I can verify this.
First of all, all book costs are clearly defined as it is a Ministry requirement for financial funding of your program. Secondly, books are never photocopied. There are certain books which are developed internally and professionally printed (to save overall costs to tuition), but not photocopied. Thirdly, triOS does not profit from books. In fact, the costs of the books are often more than what is charged, so the student is saving money.
triOS is also substantially less expensive than other reputable private career colleges. Our goal is to provide a quality education in very nice facilities with new equipment. You will pay more at triOS than an unaccredited or small school, but your education will be much better.
If you type in "cheese scam" in your search engine, you would receive results too. This is the Internet for you.
I welcome anyone to contact me directly, Jason Johnston, if you have any concerns and I will ensure they are addressed. This student's perspective should not taint your interest or ability to get a great education from our college.
