TrueCredit By TransUnion, True Credit by Transunion, TrueCredit assisted in me being a victim of Identity Theft!!!! Beware!!! Internet

TrueCredit assists Criminals to break the law and steal Identities.  The irony is that the consumers that they would like to service are disregarded if a criminal contacts TrueCredit.

I recieved a letter from True Credit Thanking me for choosing there service and stating that I signed up for a user account and password.  They provided me with a security key which would be needed in order to view the credit report.  This letter was mailed to my home.  The problem was - I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR THE SERVICE!

I contacted the customer service phone # and found out that someone actually did apply for this service in my name.  For security reasons - they wouldn't provide me any further information and I was advised to have the police contact them.

The police contacted them, obtained details and everything traced back to the "criminal".  A court date was set.  True Credit refused to send a representative to confirm the information that was provided to the police that would confirm who actually paid for the service because the criminal used there own credit card to pay for the service.  The criminal also used there own computer and other details that traced back to the criminal. 

Because True Credit refused to send a representative - the criminal charges was dismissed.  I eventually recieved an e-mail from the imposter advising me of my credit limits, FICO Score and other details that was evident that the reports were obtained from somewhere.  However - had a True Credit representative appeared - the criminal would have been charged for the crime committed.
