TruGreen Lawn Care, Nashville TN kept charging us after I cancelled 7 times! Then reported us to credit for not paying! Nashville Tennessee

My husband STUPIDLY fell for the door to door salesman that told us we would get 2 treatments for the price of one and that would be all. After the 2 treatments (which I did pay for) they kept coming back. Not only did they spray our grass, but they would come to do flea and tick yard treatments. I continually cancelled, but would come home about once a week to see their little sign in my yard saying they were there. And, of course, a lovely bill. Numerous talks with the "manager" did not help and they just kept coming. I kept calling and told them I would not pay for it because I had not requested it and it was not helping, but killing, our yard. Then, we got a letter from a credit agency where they had reported us delinquint. I hit the roof, called once again, and informed them that this would be my last call. I ended my call by telling them to put in their notes regarding my acct. that I would shoot any one in a TruGreen uniform who stepped on my property, and asked them if they thought that might keep them from coming since my previous requests had been ignored. Guess what --- they quite coming. However, the same thing happened to my friend, and she finally went out there one day when she caught them spraying (against her numerous requests) and told them that that family had moved and she would not authorized the yard treatment. So, if you can catch them and lie to them, they may stop coming. Or, you can do as I did and threaten them. That's the only way they will stop coming!
