TruthFinder Waste of time and money Internet

I wanted to find out what information was posted on me. So, first, after entering my name and other basic info, it took forever to check all the different categories. I was interested in any court records and went thru all the rigamarol of answering questions and waiting for the "results" to show. I believe it took about 15 minutes to get to the report.

Wow, the "basic" report told me my name (even tho the middle initial was wrong), age, DOB, citoes I had lived in and a few other unimportant info. Then I was offered a 1 month subscription for about $29 just for the opportunity to look up info on other people for the next 30 days.

I deceided this was BS and left the page.  Viola, then a pop up menu offered me a "trial" subscription for only $1.00 that was good for 5 days. If I didn't cancel within the 5 days, I would automatically be billed the $29 per month until I cancelled it. So, I  paid the $1.00 and was then told if I wanted a PDF printout, it would cost me another $2.00.

Assuming I was now going to get a full report, I proceeded only to find out that in order to get civil court records and a plethora of other information, I had to upgrade to their Premium membership, the cost of which I forgot.

Bottom line, they got $3.00 from me for telling me what I know. To their credit, they posted a phone number, 1-800-699-8081 that I could use to cancel my "membership" which I immediately did and they sent an email confirming my cancellation.

Don't waste your time on this "service." You can go to any city or state clerks office (Google it)and research the info you want on anybody for FREE any time and as many times as you wish.
