During the first week of July 2013 I made plans for a trip from Tulsa OK to Roseburg OR to attend a wedding of a relative and my sister was my companion.  When I reserved two hotel rooms at the Quality Inn Central in Roseburg OR for July 30 thru August 5, 2013 I thought I was dealling directly with the hotel.  When we arrived at the Quality Inn Central in Roseburg OR approximately 4:30 on July 30 we were advised by hotel staff we had no reservations and there were no vacancies.  Further investigation revealed a reservation had been made for us by HotelsOne on July 26, 2013 and when we didn't arrive, the reservation was canceled.  The desk clerk also advised HotelsOne to bill for one night only.

I called American Express from the lobby of Quality Inn Central to find out if they had any information on HotelsOne and to seek other hotel accomodations.  The credit card representative contacted HotelsOne and initiated a conference call with them, myself and also the desk clerk at Quality Inn Central. I filed a complaint with HotelsOne and the desk clerk advised HotelsOne there was ony a charge for one night; the American Express representative was on the phone during the entire convesation.

On October 17, 2013 I contacted the Quality Inn Central in Roseburg OR and spoke to Manth (or something similar) who was the same lady working the desk on July 30.  She remembered the entire incident and re-stated HotelsOne/TSP EAN Travel had only been billed for one night.

I have disputed the $2,082.74 amount with American Express twice now and both times EAN Travel US (HotelsOne.com) states the following reasons for denial:  1. The travel purchase as described above was booked online.  Upon completion of a booking, the user can view or print the itenerary and our terms of use, terms and conditions of sale and rules and restrictions are conspicuous and require the customer to click "I Accept" in order to complete the sale. 2. As a standard practice when a customer calls to request assistance we document the nature of the call and the actions taken to assist our customer.  We have no record that we received any communication regarding this itenerary and it appears we were not provided with the opportunity to remedy the issue. 3.  We have verified with our suppliers that the services were used.

So, this is one of the biggest rip-offs I have ever encountered by a business and I certainly feel the hotel in Roseburg OR is possibly in on the scam and do not recommend this hotel or this on-line service.
