Tutorvista Tutorvista.com Scam, Pathetic teachers, English teachers who can not speak, No refund policy Internet

After seeing glowing reports on Tutorvista on NBC, my wife signed up my son for a month's training on Tutorvista.com. When my son went on line for English lessons to our dismay we found out that their English teachers could hardly speak English and they were inexperienced in teaching. We tried changing teachers to try our luck. AFter three attempts we decided we were wasting our time and decided to ask for refund. When we called customer "care" and explained the situation we were told that it is company policy not to refund the money. They told us that we could take some lessons to use up the money. When we refused, protracted argument they said they would refund the money and check would be mailed the same day.

However, that was only a diversionary tactic. Later they informed that the check delivery was delayed due to "Unavoidable" reasons and they would advise us when the check will be mailed to us in future. We are still waiting for the check.
