Two Men and A Truck No wrapping in packing, breakage, large boxes half full, showed up with no markers or tape, Internet

A year ago I hired Two Men and A Truck to come and finished packing for me because I was running out of time.  Two men showed up with not enough boxes, no tape, and no markers, I let them use mine.

They packed and left.  The next morning I noiticed hat a box was wet.  I opened it and they had put items from the bathroom in this box and no wrapping, it looked like they just dumped/threw the items (toiletries) into the box.  I started checking a couple of more and the same thing.  No wrapping and one box had a large glass vase, 18" high and about 8" in diameter filled with shells gathered on beaches from past vacations in with a 25# bag of epsom salts and nothing else.  Lamp shades not wrapped ect.

I had to completely repack 1/2 of the boxes they packed and that is all I had time to do before the movers arrived.  I immediately called and complained, did not get to speak to a manager, he was suppose to return my call and he didn't, so I stopped payment on the check.

Now, almost a year later I got a notice from a collection agency.  I emailed them to explain what happened and that I was not going to pay for such poor service that the only thing the were maybe entitled to was payment for the few boxes, but trading off my tape, markers they used.  Also we ended up having to get a second truck because we were just slightly over. 

When we arrived and destination and I started unpacking, they had the really large boxes only 1/4 and 1/2 full.  If it had not been for my "loaders" doing such a good job I would have had severe damage to a lot of stuff, but loaders said they had heard horror stories of the packing this company, Two Men and A truck does, so they took great care to load which cost us extra money too because of the additional time involved.

The collecton agency they hired is as bad as them.  I immediately emailed them explaining the situtation, they didn't respond, so the next day I sent another email with a read receipt and it verified they rceived read it.  Two week later, whch is today, I received another letter from them saying that since I didn't respond they were taking that as an admission that the charge is correct!

The thirty days wasn't up and I have verification to my responding, their collecton agency is as corrupt as them.  I will be turning this over to the Attorney General's office, and I think I will even print out all the complaints on this site bout this company that has franchises all over the nation.

I will also be filing a complaint against the collection agency as well.  It is Russell Collecton Agency, Inc, also out of Flint, Michigan.
