Beware of U-Haul when reserving trucks online! You may not have a truck on moving day!

I made a reservation online 2 weeks in advance. When I did not hear from them, I made many calls trying to find out time and location of pick up. I was on hold for hours!

I was assured that a manager would be returning my call the day before my move. Nobody from U-Haul ever called me. I was without a truck on moving day on the last day of the month on a Sunday in Chicago! What a nightmare!

U-Haul SUCKS!

Uhaul trailers U haul of North Plano texas They put on a tow hitch and i did not approve of the shitty wiring, and or the install, unprofessional. They told me I could return to have tow hitch removed after the holiday (it was Dec 20th they put hitch on) and when I did they refused. And the battle goes on. 6 months as of this filing. Senior Citizens and Elderly, BEWARE OF DIRTY TACTICS USED BY U-HAUL. When you go to rent a storage unit or truck, stand at the counter, hopefully with a few other customers and slowly read every word of light gray on the back of each contract page. (the whole back page is made to screw the customer, versus protect the consumer). Every word. Ask them all kinds of questions about sentences that don’t sound right or fair. Ask them to explain why they do not give customer satisfaction as one of their guarantees.  Plano Texas

BONNIE NICHOLS rented a house for almost 4 years, got rat infested in april 2016,left house in may 15 2016 to stay with relatives with furniture still in house. lease ended in july. we were told to get out end of lease. she changed locks day after we took out all furniture may 31 , never got my security, storage and u haul cost and half of mays rent. got lawyer to deal with her lawyer , spoke with him once , never returns calls, i paid lawyer $500, still out of my money due, about $2700 OAKLAND PARK Florida

U-haul Moving & Storage of Rundberg I took it upon myself to start paying the storage fees that my husband refused to pay and as a result I was yet charged outrageous late fee of $60. This company hung up their phones on me all day long and refused to answer my emails asking them to waive the outrageous fees. As soon as I was forced to pay the fees, the phone came back on and they answered it. This is beyond hateful and mean for a company. The phone even said that they couldn't get connections but it was them setting the phone up to go out every time I dialed. This company is outrageous and should be shut down forever. Austin Texas
