UltraShield , UltraShield Denies all claims Internet

UltraShield is a complete rip-off. This company claims to provide a warranty for consumers who purchase furniture from various stores (i.e. Roomful Express). Whenever you file a claim with them for any repair work, they try to find any way to make sure that they can deny your claim. From my experience, I filed a claim for woodcare where I have a few scratches on my island.

First of all, when you call UltraShield you must leave messages with the representative and then wait a few days before they call you back. It's a game of phone tag with these people. Then, I received a letter in the mail stating that my claim was denied because it was considered 'surface scratches'. I called back stating that I think this is a false classification and that I wanted it to be re-visited. I got transfered to the manager. I had to leave another voicemail. I waited a few days, and missed her call. Then I called her back...and left a voicemail.

A few days later, she called me and kept telling me that she has to go against what was in the original claim. I wanted to file another claim then. She would not let me do anything. After much arguing back and forth, I got frustrated to the point where I was in tears. What CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS!!! It's not worth it... I will attempt to repair the freaking thing myself. With that said, I hope that other people do NOT make the same mistake as I did and chose to purchase the ULTRASHIELD WARRANTY WHICH IS A COMPLETE JOKE!
