Union Financial Securities & Trust Sweepstakes lottery scam Toronto Ontario

I received a letter in the mail and to my surprise I won a sweepstakes that I did not submit to.

They sent me a check to cash to pay them for taxes due on my winnings.

Why didn't they just deduct that amount from my winnings and send me my money.

When you call they get biligerent when you ask them questions. They say "do you want your winnings or don't you?".

I checked online and found this is a scam and want to make a full report because there are so many people out there that do not have online access and would feel this is legitimate.

I believe this should get out to the publlic through the media. I am willing to talk to anyone so that the public knows when they receive a similar thing in their mailboxes.
