Union Trust Financial Lottery Scam Langley British Columbia

I received what looks like a good check for $3,800 which is suppose to have been deducted from the $250,000 I won and I am suppose to use for tax Clearance Fee. SURE! In the first place the notice came in the mail with no return address on the envelope. Second I have not entered any lottery. Third the check was from South Shores Motors Corp , the heading on the letter was from Union Trust Financial , the tax agent was Eugene Casilla,claims agent was Charles Brown the letter was signed by J. Garfield but in print James Russell was the promotion Manager.

Anyone should figure out this is a scam.I will be taking the letter/check to local police. Just hope no one cashes their check. I just wonder how they got my phone # also which was on the envelope. I also wonder if all the people who got these letters had used a common on line site that was the source for our name and #. I looked up the company on line and saw all the ripoff reports and noticed most reports dated in September and I just got mine dated 10/15/07 so they have not been stopped yet.
