We had moved from Ventura to Northern California. We had two concerns; 1) The house we were moving into has a crème colored carpet that we did not want damaged and 2) That Rodney unpack and set up our TV's at the new home. Unique promised us both that the carpet would not be damaged and that they would unpack our TV's and put them on our furniture. A couple of days before our move; after hearing we were having difficulties finding wardrobes - Rodney showed up at our house with wardrobes and a lot of other Box Brothers boxes. We informed Rodney that we needed the wardrobes only - but could get all the boxes we needed at Lowe's for a reasonable price. Rodney told us not to worry as he had a price deal with Box Brothers and the boxes would be priced very close to Lowe's prices. We moved. After unloading we were presented and additional bill for $736 for supplies. We asked for and were promised an itemized bill and Unique and crew made it out the door without unpacking and setting up our TV's.

It took three months of unanswered emails to finally get the bill for the $736 and to our shock there were charges for such items as $3.50 each for a small box that you can buy at Lowe's for $.67! (Note we did not ask for any boxes other than wardrobes- but were promised as above the boxes would be ".would be priced very close to Lowe's prices")

We also reported the failure of Unique to unpack and set up our TV's and the fact that Unique permanently stain damaged our carpeted stairs with dragging hand trucks up the stairs.

The irony of this is that as part of the $736 - they charged us $60 for carpet protection film and then proceeded to damage our carpet; which they promised they would not.

I took the list of supplies to a Box Brothers and got a bid of $336 without a "deal" Rodney had.

Unique, Rodney, and his employee Virginia Cazares have completely ignored the failure to perform the services of unpacking an setting up our TV's, Unique causing permanent stains on our crème colored carpet that Rodney promised would never occur, the representation of Rodney on the prices of the boxes ,and lastly do not dispute these items were promised.

Further, Unique has made NO effort at providing a refund for not unpacking the TV's or mitigating the carpet damages they inflicted on us.
