United Cash Loans Took my payments and they did not go towards my loan. Internet

I applied for a 300 loan. Once approved they deposited the money into my account. A week passed and my first payment was coming up for 60 dollars. I made the payment and my amount due went down to 260. Didn't really think of it then. But the 3 more payments came out and now getting ready for the 5th payment and the amount due is still 260. Where the heck did these 4 payments of 60 dollars go to. They lady I called said they were service charges and that money didn't go towards my payoff. That doesn't make sense, these people are complete scam artist and someone needs to stop them.
