My car was towed and i needed $280 right away.I tried to borrow $300 online asap but the most i could get was $200 so i kept looking. It was close to christmas and i got my money and saved my car.I went to my familys for christmas and when i got back i checked my account and found it had $200 i didn't know about . I found out it was from United Cash Loan and called them. I told them i needed $300 and didn't want anything else, I asked for them to please take the money back. They said ok and i gave them all the infor they asked.I was then told that i had a three day window to cancel it and since it was done over the holidays i didn't even know about it for almost a week. I told them why and they said they couldn't do anything about it and that the rules are rules. They said they would be charging me $60 each month till i paid the amount due plus $60 for loaning it. I let it go and they took thier money each month for four months, Thinking i had one payment to go of $20 i looked at the website and didn't see any changes and i was in shock! I called them to make sure i wasn't mistaken but they told me my worst fears was true that i had not paid anything to the loan. The money i gave them each month was to keep the account alive not to pay it off. Knowning this is a scam at this point i said i had $20 i'd give them but that i was done and they didn't have it and kept trying to charge me $60.I had to close my account and resetup everything i had from bill pays to new cards.Stay away from them they never give up they call me every day at 8AM and Noon since then. I set thier number on block and never answer.

How do you expect a zero interest loan?

AUTHOR: FloridaNative - ()

POSTED: Monday, March 24, 2014

You borrowed the money and there is interest on the loan. It was a payday loan type place so the interest is high. In order to pay this off, look at the contract you signed with the payday loan company. You are responsible for the principal, the interest and whatever fees you agreed to at the time of the loan.

How do you expect to borrow the money and not pay interest? Loans have interest. If you don't pay it off according to the contract terms you signed, then there will be significant penalties. I don't know what those penalties are because I don't work for United Cash Loan, but they will be listed in your contract. If you default, which is what it looks like you are planning to do according to your report, then the penalties increase substantially. Better to take care of this now so that the interest and penalties don't build up. Take it as a lesson learned about taking payday loans.
