United Equitable Insurance/ Argus Financial Lowered adjustments on my damaged vehicle/paid half of what the actual repairs are Skokie Illinois

I am insured through United Equitable Insurance Company. I bought my policy through Argus Finacial Company. I was in a car accident on 02/08/2014. I faxed over my on the scene police report on 02/08/14 to Argus Financial. Beata with Argus Financial told me she will notify my insurance United Equitable and file a claim.  I called multiple times to both companies, no response in writing or email for 2 weeks. Finally on Feb, 19th i received a call from Bernard from United Equitable stating that my paperwork is missing from my file, he emailed it to me that same day i filled it out that same day and faxed it back to him on 02/19/2014 that same day, by 11:30am.

Once again there was no response for another few days, I called both companies and demanded to find out answers, I was constantly told I don't know, it was still not processed. Finally on 02/24/2014 I received a call from Marc from United Equitable Insurance stating that their insurance company will only pay 2,300 for my repairs. I called the Body shop where my car was taken after the accident, and they told me the adjustor from United Equitable, lowered the adjustment. The adjustment from United Equitabel was half of what the actual repairs were going to cost.

My car is fairly new (2010), and the adjustor demanded they use old parts on my vehicle. The adjustor claimed the big difference in the final repairs price is because i used my bodyshop instead of theirs, which i clearly  told them in emails to use their body shop if they would like to, as long as my car was repaired. The body shop that my car was towed into is not my regular auto repair place, the car was confiscated after the accident because the driver that hit me did not have driveers license or insurance, so they took us both to the police station, me as awitness.

Then i receive another call from the mechanic stating that United Equitable has also refused to pay for towing charges, which i clearly have on my policy. A few days after the accident I called united and told them that I need a rental it's within my policy as well, I went to Enterprise they told me to contact United, so they can set up a "Bill up to account" with them, then my rates will be 20 dollars per day instead of 45 per day. When I spoke with Bernie in regards to this, he told me his company does not do this, I have to pay out of pocket and they, only reimburse me 20 dollars per day.

So now at the end of this, I have $430.95, bill from Enterprise, $500.00Deductible, $1700-$2000 dollars bill from the mechanic, even thought I have my full coverage insurance though United Equitable and it states on my policy that I have up to $13,000 dollars in case of accident, my damages only run up to about 4, 000 dollars. The best part is the lying, they back date letters, that they claim they sent, when i have never received anything from them no calls no correspondnce in mail or email for 2 whole weeks.

This company is a complete liar, they refuse to pay out your full car damages, how can they still be in business if they are running these kind of scams. They need to be investigated, just because they are an insurance company they feel they can get away with these kind of scams. I'm reaching out to everyone who has ever had this company or had a claim with this company, because if there is more of us with the same story.
