United Equitable Insurance supposedly sold liablity insurance to Beata Kogut of Zion IL, her daughter, Marcella Kogut, was driving her car with her permission and on 2/21/2011 entered the intersection of Hebron and 23rd Street Zion IL causing an accident with my car, driven by my son with me as a passenger. She gave truthful testimony to the accident investigator taking the report. Since my insurance company, State Farm contacted them the following day, I have spoken to Juliet Driscoll (claim adjuster/United Equitable) who, on several occasions, told me there was no problem and payment would be sent to State Farm. To date, 4/27/2011, no payment - and dodged phone calls. It is over 2 months for an uncomplicated claim for damages totalling $2925.47 and no injuries resulted. I can not get a straight answer out of this company's representative, nor can the subrogation department of State Farm. My only course of action is the Illinois Department of Insurance.

My Chrysler 300 was stolen in chicago in 2008 and United Equitable said they have proof from Chrysler that a model 300 could not be stolen without the use of a key and they dont cover claims if keys were used in the theft, I had a ACTIVE FULL-COVERAGE POLICY, the Illinois Dept. of Insurance agreed with United Equitable!
THIS DEPT HAS RUNIED MY CREDIT
I have heard the company president gives generous political donations in Illinois,I wonder is there some possible connection why the IDOI would agree with such a stupid excuse from United Equitable?
