Being a veteran and wishing to take a short vacation travel for me and my wife, I applied to United Military Travel for a travel loan. Having poor credit myself, I was surprised to be approved.

So I wanted to go on a cruise with Royal Caribbean and found one I liked. It was priced at $728 per person double occupancy which came to about $1,456 plus fees and taxes. United Military Travel wanted a total of $3,131 for the same cruise! Thas a difference of $1,675. With payments of $186 for 24 months for a grand total of $4,464!

I can understand loan fees and such, but their price and ultimate cost of the loan is ridiculous. And they pride themselves in serving Veterans and the military?

I obviously choose not to use their services and highly recommend anyone to double-check before commiting to such an outrageoud arrangement. They are not accredited by the BBB.
