I order two items on February 6, 2010 and paid for overnight delivery due to the fact that I was going out of town and I really needed the two items that I had purchased. Six days had went passed and I still had not received my items. Never gotten the items before leaving to go out of town. I have contacted UPS several times and still have not received any answers as of yet.

Today is the 18th of February and I still have not received my items as of yet. I have contacted the company that I have ordered from and they stated that UPS has the items but have not delivered them as of yet and they have to wait ten business days to do a tracer.

I work two minutes away from the Landover location and I was willing to pick the items up but I still gotten no answer from UPS. Every time I call they just tell me that they will have someone call me back in an hour and no one had contacted me as of yet.

I HATE UPS!!!!!

Where Is The Rip Off? Why Upset with UPS?

AUTHOR: Kevin a - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, February 20, 2010

From what I can gather here, you have ordered items you never received. For some (unexplained) reason, you are upset with UPS and taking the sender's word that they shipped the items and UPS has them. Are you 100% certain this is the case?

Did the sender provide you with tracking numbers for the "sent" items (all UPS packages have tracking numbers and can be tracked at UPS' web site)? If so, what is the status of the packages? If not, how do you know they were actually shipped? Just because the sender said so? UPS does NOT have to wait 10 days to do a tracer. It takes 6-8 business days for a trace to be COMPLETED on packages that are supposedly lost (many times they are found having been placed somewhere the receiver did not see them, or a neighbor took them in to be safe).

I can understand your frustration at not being called back when told you would be. Working 2 minutes away from a UPS location means nothing if the packages are not at that location. This seems to be a bit of an overreaction on your part. I do not see a rip off here, or why you are placing the blame soley on UPS for your packages not arriving. It looks to me like you need to have some further discussion with the sender, if you have not already done so.
