United Quality Publication, Inc. AKA RLA Inc. - Kenmore Sales Co Salesman sold me phony magazine subscription at Mesa, AZ Walmart Pensacola, Florida

I was shopping at Walmart yesterday, and a young man approached me to buy a magazine subscription for a fundraiser. His tactic was to try and flatter me into buying from him. I saw through the flattery, but I bought a subscription anyway--the cheapest one--because I try to support fundraisers whenever I am able.

Today I went online to learn more about the company, and after doing a Google search I couldn't find a Web site. So I Google-d the address instead. That took me to this Web site (ripoffreport.com). The address is associated with RLA Inc. - Kenmore Sales Co. I found about 50 reports for RLA, and the approach sounds exactly like United Quality Publication's approach. (For example, the young man would get a trip if he sold enough subscriptions, delivery will begin in 120 to 160 days, etc.) It appears to me that this is the same company with just a new name.

When I found this out, I put a stop on my check. But the stop cost me $30. This makes me wary of ever participating in a fundraiser of this type ever again.
