United Quality Publications Inc U.Q.P. Disquised as door to door magazine subscription service. STEAL your money, complained to State of Fl legal officials who are powerless to handle. Pensacola, Florida

Without any legal ramifications the "United Quality Inc." , aka UQP are allowed to solicit to sell magazine subscriptions door to door. I was asked to pay "cash and part check" to cover the magazine I chose. The check was cashed 7 days later.

No magazine was received and the magazine company did not have me as a customer for months.

I complained to the Florida Attorney General, as well as Department of Consumer Services.  The end result was a letter I received stating "Unfortunately the business has refused to cooperate and we are unable to assist you further".

What the heck?  Stealing money for a business is allowed? If I wasn't a little fish in the big pond I would take United Quality Inc. on in a legal class action suit.  I hope someone in legal status takes them on and wins for us little guys.  Further, it is insane that a state departments allow this to happen.

Eventually, 7 MONTHS LATER, the magazine arrived.  Seven months, $49.00 paid out of pocket, and a folder full of documentation, forms, communications made, before I received the magazine that was to be delivered (stated in writing on my receipt) within 120 days.


I pray some "go getter lawyer" gets this company and fights them in court and shuts them down.
Besides what do they do with the actual cash they want in conjunction with the check payment? Avoiding taxes? Paying under the table?   Somebody shut this company down.....
