United Readers Service Did not give me correct information and I was misinformed about the price Lakewood Ohio

I was contacted by this company about 1 year ago. The women spoke very fast and I new I was getting magazines for a good price, plus entered in a sweepstakes also. I was lead to believe that I only had too make 3 payments of 39.00 and I let the girl use my credit card to bill one payment, which was a dumb mistake, but they sounded legit.

After I made the 3rd payment, I still received monthly bills. I called the company and said that I still owed the balance of over $400.00 and could not cancel. I decided to keep getting the magazines and pay off the bill. They called a few times making other offers and I told them I didn't want any further offers. I got a call today from a women again, trying to be friendly and making small talk, wanted to offer me even more magazines. I told her no, and she said she wanted me too speak with her supervisor because she was a new employee and this was her second day.

When I spoke too the supervisor, I told him I did not want any further magazines and I was finished paying the bill. HE THEN INFORMED ME THAT I HAD ANOTHER YEAR TOO PAY FOR.

I told him I would not do that, to cancel the magazines and not bother me again. So who knows what they will try and do. I will call my Credit Card Co. tomorrow and advise them not to accept any payments from this service. Hope that works. I'm not sure where they got my number from originally, since I am on the Do Not Call List. Any help from others would be appreciated
