United States Postal Service Priority Shipping Misleading the consumer! Mansfield Texas

 I went in to the Mansfield, Texas Postal Building on December 14th. I had mailed out a big box to my family in Tucson, Arizona. The postal worker (female) who had helped me said I could pay priority which was $32 for my big box or standard shipping. At no time did she tell me priority was not guranteed to be there with in two to four days, in fact she told me it will be in Tucson by the 17th.

Also no where in the place of business did it state priority shipping was not guranteed and neither did they bother to disclose me this information before I paid. I've never been aware there were two different kinds of priority and I had bought the one they said wasn't guranteed. If I had known this I would've paid for standard because it doesn't make sense to pay more when it's not guranteed to ship faster.

I was highly upset when my family didn't get their box until the 27th! I understand it was Christmas and I would've been prepared for it to be so late if i had paid standard but I paid more to get it to my family before Christmas. My husband went to this post office to say clearly you gave us standard shipping and all we wanted was a refund of the difference in priority shipping which was $18 but yet they didn't care.

The postal man pulled out a book and agrued with my husband I bought the one was not guranteed even though I had insurance and tracking with it, so sad to say they did not do right by us. We feel this was deceptive! I heard (((competitor's name redacted))) the shipping service with big brown trucks refunded their customer's money so I will be using them for now on.
