Universal Business Strategies, Don Lapre Ripoff dishonest, promised refund, mistreated and ripped off Phoenix Arizonia

In Febuary 2003 my husband ordered Don Lapre's work from home program. I heard him agree to the initial charge of $39.95. We received the program. Shortly after my account was charged 5 different charges ($61.94, $277.00, $39.95, $24.00 & $10.00)

The next week they had taken another 3 seperate charges out of my account. ($48.00, $288.00, $100.00). The total taken from my account was $848.89.

On March 17, 2003 and March 24, 2003 I called the company and complained about the charges. I asked them to take the entire package back. They told me that they would call me in 3-5 days to tell me what to send back. I never heard from them. I called back and told them that I was sending everything back, and I expected a full refund.

On April 1,2003 they sent me a letter. When I called them back they told me that I would get a full refund by April 30, 2003. It is now May 7, 2003 and all the numbers they gave me to contact are either busy or the voice mails are full, probably from people like me trying to get there money back. My husband left messages, hopefully we will get a call back.
