After viewing don lapres money making infomercials for several years i decided i wanted to try my luck at a home based business after owning 2 businesses in the past. I called for the money making package with the assumption of selling products on a website i would receive for free from the company.

After receiving my package i called imediately for the free website in which there was a 72 hour deadline to receive free. During the conversation with the representative he talked me into listening to a recorded message by don lapre about 900 line numbers and how much more effective the numbers were in making faster money and with less costly spending in the long run. there were five 900 lines to choose from that i could purchase and each one would have their own website for more advertising than placing adds each week in newspapers.

it seemed to be an enticing opportunity with discounts for the numbers and the websites so i accepted the opportunity . I purchased five numbers and websites and plus the search engine on 01/22/03 with the total cost of $2500. With the search engine there was a gaurantee of 500 hits per website for one year to the day or i would receive a full $500 (the paid cost of gauranteed hits) money back gaurantee. I checked each website periodically and each number extension to see how many hits and calls i had received as time went on. There werent many of either throughtout 8 months as i figured it would take time to work. I was in the process of relocating during the fall of 2003 so i didnt have time to check on them.

After i was settled in and time to send my new mailing information to the company i noticed my websites were nowhere to be found on the internet. I called every phone number in the package i had received and every number had been disconnected. So it seems to be i have fallen a scam victim to don lapre/universal business strategies company.
